2024, wow! Am I the only one over here still trying to process that the years are flying by faster than I can catch my breath most days? The more women I talk to in and outside of Gina Marie Beauty Studio the more I know that I am not. Between all the things we are told we have to do and the things we need to do it's no wonder we're walking around looking and feeling like zombies hyped up on caffeine. And do not get me started on the school spirit weeks and the never-ending sports schedules in any given season. I'll stop there before this post goes in a completely different direction. {insert yikes emoji face here}

What if I told you that you don't have to have the latest overpriced skincare products or a 10-step skincare regimen to achieve glowing skin? As a licensed esthetician, I'm here to let you in on a little secret that it can be so much simpler than that with these 4 easy winter skincare tips. In my next post, I'm going to elaborate on each of these tips so you know the why behind them, but for now, I'll leave you with all you need to know to be on your way to glowing, radiant skin this winter. I'm serious!

  1. Wear sunscreen with at least SPF 30 every day, even on cloudy days. Yes, even in winter! Want to go the extra mile? Wear a hat and sunglasses to further protect your skin from harmful UV rays.

  2. Moisturize regularly, at least morning and night. Look for a moisturizer with hyaluronic acid, which helps to plump up the skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

  3. Aim for at least 7-8 hours of sleep each night. I know, this one is a challenge for a lot of people, including yours truly. Let's make a pact to go to bed earlier in 2024 because our health is definitely more important than another episode of our bingeworthy show of the month, right?

  4. Stay hydrated. Most people need 8 cups of water each day at the very least. If you regularly workout or drink caffeine your body needs even more.
